January Favourites

So we've reached the end of January 2015 already! I can't believe that in 11 months time, it will be 2016, which will be the year I leave school!

Today I wanted to post about my January Favourites. I love reading blog posts or watching videos like this, and whilst I can't guarantee that I will be doing a favourites for every month, when I feel that I have some interesting things collected up that I've been loving one month, I'll do another favourites. Also, the categories may change depending on what I've been loving!

For the makeup category, I've chosen my Sleek 'Blush By Three' trio, in Lace 376, because the colours are so pigmented, it's got gorgeous colours and I'm just in love with it.

It looks brand new in the picture, but I've used it everyday since I bought it and it doesn't look new in real life!

For the hair category, I've chosen the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner for Damaged Hair. Whilst my hair is by no means damaged, I love using this because it makes my hair so glossy! I use it for 20 minutes, and it works wonders so I would highly suggest you go out and try it. They even do 1-use pouches, so you could always see if you like it before buying a whole bottle.

For the book category, I've chosen the book Bunheads. I haven't finished it yet, but so far, the book has really interested me, so I will do a book review at some point. I have a bad habit of having 2 books on the go (right now I've also just started The Perks of Being a Wallflower as well). I need to stop doing that as I never used to and it's much better to finish one book before the next!

For the food category- got to include this- I've chosen Whitworth's Banana Chips. All banana chips are amazing, but these are the ones I have at the moment.

For the fashion category I've chosen my flannel from Marks and Spencers. I love this, and I basically have been living in it this month- oops!

For the skincare category, I've chosen the Amie Morning Dew Moisturiser. I use this at night as it has no SPF, and you don't need sun protection at night, and I put it on after my cleansers and toner, and it makes my skin so dewy, and fresh feeling. I been particularly loving it this month, so that's why it's my skincare pick!

For the youtuber category, I chose Gabby (Gabriella Lindley), because she seems really genuine and I've just been loving every single one of her videos at the moment. She does main channel videos and vlogs.

View her Youtube Channels:

She also has a blog:

Last but not least, is the blogger category! I've chosen MeMe, because her blog has such a nice variety of posts and she's very friendly, so you should all check her blog out below!

I hope you enjoyed this post, if you did, maybe comment down below some of your January Favourites!

Collective January Haul

Over the past few weeks this month, I've been shopping and bought a few items that I thought I would share with you guys on my blog. I'm planning on buying some more things in the next couple of weeks, but I'm not exactly sure when, so I thought I'd do this post now, because I've been waiting for quite a while.

This is a long sleeved cropped t-shirt, I love it so much, because it's perfect for spring, early summer, and early autumn, because at those types it can be quite warm, but not enough for a short sleeved crop top. This was £8.99 in New Look.

This is a collection bronzer from Boots, it cost £2.99.

This is the amazing Collection concealer, I love this, it's the best concealer I've ever used, and I would 100% recommend it. I think this was £4.19 in Boots. As you can see the writing has worn away!

This is a bandana I bought on Amazon for about £1.15

This is the Aussie travel size dry shampoo (65ml) in Mega Instant, for £2.29, and the 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner for £4.99. The conditioner is amazing, it makes your hair so soft and shiny, I put it on for 20 minutes with  towel wrapped around my head and that works wonders!

Rosie came and joined in!

This is the sleek blush, in Lace 367, with the Real Techniques Contour Brush, out of the Core Collection. The middle shade is a gorgeous shimmer, the shade on the left is a very natural looking orange shade, and the shade on the right is a pink shade, although it looks less pink in the picture. This is one of my favourite items. It cost £9.99, and the colours are really highly pigmented!

This is the Real Techniques Core Collection Set, I got them on Amazon for about £14.50.

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Hair Colour Obsession

Ok, so I've had revision a lot this weekend, but other than that, I've also had more freetime than during the week, so I decided that I would do an extra blog post outside of my schedule!

Today I want to talk about something that I've been obsessing over the past few of weeks. Hair colour! I literally love all hair colours, and if it wasn't so damaging, I would try them all!

I dyed my hair with a wash in-wash out shampoo during the Christmas holidays. It barely showed, but in the light it had a very slight warmer tone, almost auburn. I like auburn hair, and I would love to go this colour:

(photo from Gabby's latest video, here.)

That's the colour I'd probably go, but here's a collection of colours that I'd also consider:

Hair color.
(image link here)
Try a low pony tail for this Valentine's Day. Simple and beautiful, it's a perfect style to spend a day with that special someone.
(picture link here)
Cara Delevingne; this girl's hair is perfection (not to mention those killer eyebrows!).
(picture link here)
I just want to mention what a gorgeous colour Cara's hair is, if it wasn't for the fact that dying my hair this colour would mean bleach (as with most of these), I'd go for it straight away. I wish dying wasn't so difficult to change, and part of me gets all sentimental about my natural colour, unlike some people who go for it (completely the right attitude!).

Now for some more unrealistic options, most of these I would never do, but I just love how they look anyway!

Love this hair colour, would be nicer in an ombre or dip die style
(picture link here)
So pretty but very very cool. I think my sis needs a more vibrant tone to go with her skin tone.
(picture link here)
red ombre hair..this is what my hair was supposed to look like! but it didn't round 2 in a few months
(picture link here)
I like this ginger hair look, but because my hair's naturally brown, I feel like if I went full on ginger, rather than just auburn, it would look very drastic, so I'd rather an auburn version of this.

I love black hair, but I think it would look very severe with my skintone, which is why I'd rather go dark brown.

(picture link here)
I think this is a great shade of pink because like its not too bright that it attracts heaps of attention but it's not to boring
(picture link here)
This color looks like MANIC PANIC Pillarbox Red.

So there you have it! My hair colour obsession! Have you ever dyed your hair? Has anyone got any tips for dying my hair? Conditioning, having the courage etc? Also what colour do you think I should go?

Bye for now!

Liebster Award

This is such a lovely post to be doing, because it is an award post- the Liebster Award! These posts make me feel so happy, and it makes me feel like the blogging community really comes together. I want to say a massive thank you to MeMe books for nominating me, she has an amazing blog, as I've said before, and I think you should check it out!

The Rules:
Link the person who nominated you.
Answer the questions given by the nominator.
Nominate 11 other bloggers who have less than 200 followers.
Create 11 questions for the nominees to answer.
Notify all nominees via social media/blogs.

1. What have you gained from blogging?
I've honestly gained so much. I've gained confidence to talk about things that I sometimes wouldn't talk about in 'real life', I've found some amazing blogs to read that share both similar and different interests to me, I've become happier, I've received some lovely comments from people that always cheer me up and I get to comment on other blogs that will make others happy.

2. What do you want in the future?
At the moment I would love to go to college and study A-Levels- some possibilities I like the idea of are: Dance, Sociology, English Lit&Lang, Geography, Religious Studies and maybe Biology? I'm not sure exactly which I'll choose though. I'd also like some great GCSE results. I'd like to become a primary school teacher, marry and have a family, go to many places in the world and also gain more readers who enjoy what I write, as much as I enjoy writing it.

3. What's your favourite type of blog?
I'll have to say beauty as I always find myself looking up things beauty related, but I do love to read a Q&A, or more of a 'chatty' post. I'm also loving hauls at the minute!

4. Have you ever tried Tiger Bread? And do you like it?
Yeah I have, and I do like it, it's probably one of my favourite types of bread- which probably sounds very weird!

5.Hot or cold weather?
Definitely hot, I love the sun, the summer holidays are my favourite you can go swimming, shopping (without getting horrible wet clothes or just generally cold) and just generally feel healthier in my opinion. I'm also quite pale, and in the winter my face can look quite washed out, so the summer gives it a nice glow! I like winter, but not as much.
6.Sofa or Gym?
Well I don't go to the gym because I'm only a teenager, I like getting up and doing dance, but I'm not use if that counts. I guess it's nice to get a good balance of both!

7. Dream Job?
I'd love to be a successful makeup artist like Bobbi Brown, because she has books, a makeup range and is a makeup artist. If not I would like to do something acting related.

8. Have you got a Celebrity Crush?
Yes I do, it's Ashton Irwin from 5SOS, I like him because he always seems cheerful, always thanks fans, is funny in interviews and also, he's very good looking! I also really like Harry Styles, but if I had to choose one it would be Ashton.

(photo from Ashton's instagram, link here)

9. Where are you from? And describe that place.
I'm from a village in the South of England. It's got a few main roads running through it, as well as a community centre, park, bike shop and train platform (I say platform because it's tiny with no station). It's easy to reach the local town from there, but also is quite pictureque, with duck ponds, fields and lovely walks, as well as a small old style pub. I live down a quiet dead-end road and I really like my house and local area.

10. If magic was real what would be your power?
I'm not sure if this counts, but it would probably be to go back in time (and not affect current life), because I'd love to not only rewind some of my past but see some of the past decades.

11. What do you think of England?
I really like England, I think it has a lot of culture, it's got a variety of areas from country, to town to huge cities and I cant imagine myself anywhere else. I'm not keen on the cold, rainy weather, and I like the idea of living in Australia, but I love the english lifestyle so much too, I don't think I'd ever move.

My nominations:
Some of these people actually have more than 200 followers (sorry!), but they all deserve it so I wanted to nominate them.

My Questions for You:

1. What's your biggest regret?
2. What makes you enjoy blogging?
3. Favourite quote?
4. Who's your idol? Why?
5. Do you have any hobbies besides blogging?
6. Phone or computer?
7. Television or Youtube?
8. One makeup item you would use if you could only use one for the rest of your life?
9. Favourite type of sweets?
10. What inspired you to create a blog?
11. Where do you want to be in 10 years time?

Update: I want to say a massive thank you to Emily, who nominated me a day after I posted this! I wanted to update since she only just missed me making this post, and it means so much. So here is another set of questions! Please follow Emily's blog down below:

http://emilyattemptslife.blogspot.co.uk/

1. What is your favourite TV series?
I don't actually watch much TV, besides Emmerdale and Corrie, but I do like Waterloo Road. I want to watch Skins, Pretty Little Liars and One Tree Hill, but my mum thinks I'm a bit young, for at least Skins, at the moment, which is fine. I've just put the TV from the spare room in my room (today), so I'll watch more TV then.

2. Which Disney character do you like the most?
Cinderella, I don't really know why, I just always liked her from the beginning, when I was about 5.

3. Heels or flats?
Definitely flats, I love heels, but I'm quite tall, so I've taken to wearing flats, as you can get some gorgeous shoes without heels.

4. Summer or Winter?
Summer, I do like the winter to an extent, but I prefer summer, I'm always happier in the summer, its more fun, there's a bigger variety of activities to do, the evenings are light, and it's warm which I love! Also, 6 weeks holiday is very nice!

5. What's your favourite childhood memory?
I have lots of favourite childhood memories, but I'm going to go with
1) Going to Disneyland Paris with my parents
and
2) Going camping with both my family and my best friends' family (Aaron and Abi, who I've referred to before).
I can only insert photos I took of printed photos, because most of the pictures are on my mums laptop. Anyway here's two from Disneyland, age 6.

Me and Alice in Wonderland. I don't have my front teeth, and I think you'll agree I look a little tired, but I was so happy and in awe of her- especially her blue eyes, which I've since realised were contacts! Haha!

I can actually still remember how excited I was when I saw this decoration on the 'street' in Disneyland- I am pretending to be Cinderella here and requested that my parents took this photo of me!

6. Which of your posts are you most proud of? Link it below.
I actually really like my first post, which was an 'April Buys' post you can view here:
I also like my 'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas post, and my 'Christmas Gifts' post, but the one I've linked to is the one I'm most proud of because I was new to blogging, but I made sure I put lots of effort into my posts from the beginning, and I'm really glad I did!

7. Where in the world would you want to travel to if you could?
I want to visit so many places so I'll list them all. The list is constantly growing!

India
L.A.
New York
Jamaica
Australia
Paris (not just Disney!)
Amsterdam
Thailand
Dubai
Japan
And maybe Africa, Germany, Iceland and some other places in America.

8. What is your favourite meal?
Probably something really boring like pizza. Or maybe risotto! My aunty makes an amazing risotto, she gave me the recipe and I made stuffed risotto peppers for food tech in year 8!

9. Have you ever been to a concert or festival? What was it?
I have been to a Girls Aloud concert (The Saturdays supported), the Girlguiding Big Gig (it had a variety of artists including Pixie Lott, Ed Sheeran, Olly Murs and maybe The Saturdays), and a One Direction concert (supported by 5SOS). I've never been to a festival, but I really want to, although the toilets put me off!

10. Have you got a song stuck in your head at the moment? What is it?
I have now, because I've literally just thought about it! It's Meghan Trainor 'Dear Future Husband'. That will be in my head until tomorrow haha!

11. What is your favourite thing about blogging?
I love everything that comes with blogging, I love sharing my opinion on things, chatting with people, the kind comments and follows, and also finding other bloggers that enjoy this whole community as much as I do!

I hope you enjoyed writing this post, if you want to contact me please feel free to! I feel like I haven't blogged properly in ages! I honestly love blogging so much, so whilst I have a new schedule of Tuesdays and Fridays, if I ever get a spare minute to do an extra post or two one week, I 100% will.

Bye for now!

Infinity Dreams

Hello Everyone!

I'm so excited about doing this post, and it's one that really means a lot to me.The lovely MeMe nominated me for the Infinity Dreams Award! This honestly means so much, because when I started this blog, I didn't think that anyone would read it, and although I don't have hundreds of followers, those that do follow make me so happy, and the comments are so friendly, and cheer me up so much, and make me want to keep on, and not give up, like I did when I first made this blog back in April 2014! I would love for you to all go and check out Meme's blog, because it's amazing!

Rules:
1. Thank and Follow the blog that nominated you
2.Tell us 11 facts about you
3.Answer the questions that were set up for you
4. Nominate 11 and make your questions for them

11 Facts About Me:

1. I don't have a sense of smell. I don't know the exact reason why, but I was either born without it, or lost it through an operation, but I'm not sure which, as I can't remember much from before the operation.

2. I love One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer. They are my favourite bands, although close seconds are Green Day, Paramore, Nickelback and All Time Low.

3. The best holiday I ever went on was when I went to Spain in the summer in 2014. It was for my sister's wedding, so lots of family and old friends of my dads were also there, and it had a very fun atmosphere. My best friends Aaron and Abi also stayed in apartments 5 minutes away from mine with their parents, so I spent most of the holiday hanging out with them which was amazing, I loved it so much, and missed it so badly for a couple of weeks afterwards!

4. My favourite subjects at school are English and Religious Studies.

5. I want to be a primary school teacher when I'm older, although I also like the idea of dance teaching and being a makeup artist.

6. The first YouTuber I subscribed to was Connor Franta, I loved his videos so much! I still do watch them from time to time these days.

7. As well as Aaron and Abi, who aren't at my school, my best friend is Alice. We get on really well, we can laugh about anything and if I had to speak to someone about something private, I would go to her, as I know she would never tell anyone. She's actually sat next to me just as I'm writing this!

8. I go to an all girls school. I'm not quite sure whether I like this or not.

9. I really want to visit L.A. and Australia when I'm older, as well as India and Jamaica. I think these places are so exciting, and they are top of my travel bucket list!

10. I live by the quote 'Think about the stories you want to tell when you're 75, and go out and live them'. My mum bought me a hanging 'sign' with this quote on for Christmas too, so I can always be reminded of it.

11. My eyes kind of change colour, they're hazel, but sometimes they are completely green, and other times they have light brown running through them, so I never know what colour to say they are when I'm asked!

My Nominations:
I'm sorry I could only come up with 6, I'm always reading and finding new blogs to read, but here is my list:

My Questions:

1. What made you start a blog?
I read several blogs and also watched YouTube channels, and it made me want to get involved. I also really wanted a place that I could just share my thoughts on things and starting this blog seemed like a good place to do that. By having this blog, I also get plenty of use out of my camera, so I can learn how to get better with photography.

2. Who do you look up to?
Shailene Woodley. I think she is very talented, beautiful and also has said some really nice quotes in the past which make me feel better about myself.

3. What are you afraid of?
I'm not afraid of much, but I am afraid of cancer, my parents dying, and my anxiety worsening- I suffered with it badly a couple of years back, and since have got it under control, but it is sometimes on my mind and I get bouts of feeling anxious.

4. Favourite item you own?
This will probably sound really weird, but my family 'own' a dog, so obviously I love her very much! Other than that I would say my camera, because although it's not the best, I wanted a better digital camera, and I really appreciate owning it. I love lots of things I own really, so it's quite hard to pick a favourite, maybe I'll do a 'favourite things' post one day, and categorise music, fashion, makeup and technology!

5. Favourite song?
I have 4 current favourites which are I Feel Like Dancin' by All Time Low, Just Saying by 5 Seconds  of Summer, crushcrushcrush and One of Those Crazy Girls by Paramore. My top songs change all the time though!

6. Have you got a hobby?
Yes, I do!! Dance is my hobby and passion, I currently study Ballet, Tap and Jazz, and I love dancing, I always feel bored if I go for a long time without dancing.

7. What would be your perfect day?
If I couldn't spend it with 5SOS and 1D, it would probably be going shopping or to a theme park with my closest friends. I love spending time with my pals!

8. How did you meet your first friend?
My first friend was Aaron, he's my mum's best friend's son. He is like a brother to me, and we are still best friends to this day. He also has a younger sister, who is also like my younger sister, and I'm very close with her too- she was probably one of my second friends.

9. Beach or Snow?
Although I love the snow, I probably would say beach, because generally when you go, it's warm, relaxing and everyone is having a nice time. The snow is nice, but after a while, the novelty of it can wear off, and then you're soaking wet and cold.

10. Kindle or Book?
This is a tough one for me, I have a kindle, and it's so useful because all of your books are in one place, and you can travel with loads of books on you without taking up a lot of weight, but there is something very nice about holding a proper book, so I'm actually not sure!

11. If you could go back in time, where and what would you do?

I would go to the 1950s, because I love the fashion, music, dancing and activities. Grease is one of my favourite films and I think it would be so much fun to have been a teenager/young adult in that decade!

My questions for you:

1. What's your favourite film?
2. What's your biggest achievement?
3. Other than blogging, what do you enjoy doing in your freetime?
4. What music do you like, if any?
5. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
6. What is your dream job?
7. Have you got any talents?
8. Do you have a favourite quote?
9. What do you enjoy most about blogging?
10. Do you have any pets?
11. Makeup, hair, fashion or accessories&shoes?

I really enjoyed writing this, I hope you enjoyed reading it! Until my next post- bye

UPDATE: Just wanted to give the blog http://pastelskiesx.blogspot.co.uk/ a shoutout, as she nominated me again, but I've already done the award. I'm so thankful and truly appreciate the fact that people choose to nominate me.
